Awá Colombia
Awa Colombia is a store located in Bogotá. For more than 15 years, it has been dedicated to gathering the best artisan and artistic talent from all over the country. It offers customers a collection of more than 100 Colombian artisans and designers with their meaningful products and a delightful blend of traditions, culture, innovative techniques, quality, and originality. Awa Colombia’s goals are to foster national talent, promote its products, and exalt Colombia.
Problem Statement:
Awa Colombia is a store that brings together various products crafted by Colombian artisans and designers from across the country. The store is located in an exclusive area in Colombia, known for hosting many visitors throughout the year. For this reason, it is essential for the store to offer products that clearly represent Colombia, providing visitors with meaningful souvenirs of their trip. Despite the fact that Awa’s current products are made by local artisans, the store lacks items that explicitly carry the “Made in Colombia” label, resulting in a loss of approximately 15% of potential sales opportunities, particularly with foreign customers who frequent the store. Additionally, the store has never had its own product line that truly reflects its brand values.
Goal Statement:
The goal of this project is to increase revenue by 15% by targeting customers who are seeking products that explicitly feature the “Made in Colombia” label, helping to promote the country’s name worldwide. Additionally, the project aims to launch the store’s first own product line, which will showcase the mission and values of Awa Colombia—highlighting the essence of Colombia and exalting its talent. This initiative will also strengthen the store’s brand by offering its own products.
